Is MyStoreBuddy GDPR-compliant?
Yes — it's built for it: hosting and database in the EU, no cookies, no tracking, anonymous chat sessions, automatic deletion after 90 days, and a DPA included right when you install. Details in our privacy policy.
How long does setup take?
Minutes: install the app, start the catalog analysis, activate the widget in your theme. The buddy analyzes your catalog itself and proposes a ready-made advisor profile you can refine anytime.
What counts as a conversation?
One complete conversation — no matter how many messages it contains. Many competitors count individual messages or replies; 50 conversations on the Free plan is therefore far more than it sounds.
How does the AI know what to recommend?
Exclusively from your store: product data, descriptions, policy pages, and your settings. The better your content, the better the advice — the content optimizer on the Pro plan helps with exactly that.
How do I cancel?
Just uninstall the app — that's it. Paid plans end with the Shopify billing cycle, and your data is then deleted completely.
What's the difference between the Free chat and the Pro chat?
The Free chat advises and sells: follow-up questions, product cards, sets, discounts. The Pro chat adds a tab bar — from Boost the Discover tab with collections, shop search and sorting, and with Pro the Order tab, where signed-in customers see their orders, ask for status and tracking, and start cancellations or returns.
